GAME 541 - 5 Player Cut Throat 2
#31
From the Underworld king to the Sorceror:

As our attentions are fully engaged in managing our kingdom, we have not devoted tone or gold to the high council. We are guaranteed a spot in any case. A token bid of say 500 gold should ensure your seat at tge table.

We would council against using the high council as a weapon. As you have already seen, kingdoms are willing to go to all out war over a vote and it of course makes it difficult to accomplish your own goals.

As a fellow king of equal status, we don't presume to advise you in your strategy however past kings of your nation have pursued a more patient and subtle
Strategy with their military neighbors.

From the Underworld king to the Dragon king:

We can find no reason not to take you up on your offer. As taking a region is easier when you have both cities, it is our intention to wait until you have taken the region to take up residence.

We currently have no holdings in Arcania.

To the Sorcerer King,

As no actual vote has occurred, we ask that you reconsider your proposal in light of clarifications provided by the DA and ourselves. I believe that there may have been a misunderstanding in prior communications. This is unfortunately common with complex politics between different cultures and no offense shall be taken as unless you actually should vote against our proposal.

We look forward to your response.

King of the Elves,

We send you this dispatch simply to stay in touch so there should not develop any mistrust. We have no desire to visit the forests of Oakendell. Her trees are much too thick for our wings to stretch Smile Should you ever have a question about our intentions please feel free to raise them with me and I shall respond directly.

Greetings leaders of the Kingdoms,

The stars align again and thus allow us to speak. Much has occurred since we last spoke. There appear to be some instances of political or military units crossing paths in the wild. Perhaps we should discuss to insure there are no misunderstandings.

The King of the Onyx Imperium extends his hand in gratitude to the Red Dragon for not initiating hostilities between us when your emissaries and 1RD arrived at Gundibar and other E Steppe PC's. Since you know our 1DA is in Arcania searching PC's , we seek only significant influence there and allow the Mighty Red Dragon control, but we seek control of E Steppe which was our first priority and offer you significant influence there. Our capital was just out of range of Gundibar so we were delayed in our aquisition of the region. We do seek control of E Steppe so that we may counter the seasonal effects of food shortages in a north and south region. We offer our assistance at your pleasure when called upon.

Underworld King, the Onyx Imperium also offers its assistance for your brotherhood to gain control of Amberland. Whatever help you need feel free to ask.

Greetings Imperator,

Communication is a bit difficult as I am using a very small scrying device. I had assumed your groups and emissaries were acting on old intelligence as were my own. My Duke shall be vacating Gundibar immediately.

From the Underworld to the Darkelves:

We thank you for your offer of assistance in Amberland. While we were delayed in taking control of the region due to distance, our best political minds are confident that this turn will solidify our control of the region.

As the Red Dragons have claimed Arcania and the Darkelves have claimed the Eastern Steppes to balance their economies, so too will the Underworld lay claim to the Southern Sands as our next area of expansion. This will of course be difficult if you continue your expansion there as well as simultaneously expanding northward into the Eastern steppes.
