Are these improvements or bug fixes. Honestly 3rd cycle is such a great improvement for order entry and overall kingdom feel I would be happy to play it as is assuming there are nothing bug related we have to worry about and have additional tweaks or improvements rolled out at a later date.

There were very few bugs reported in the three beta games.  Those that were, Mike destroyed with avengence.  No, its a question of how much coding is yet required to do what I feel is important to 3rd Cycle.  So as I've said on articles on design, its done when you can't remove anymore (not when you stop adding), but I don't know that we've gotten to that point.  So, I don't want it to be about ego, but I also don't want it to be less than what I expected.  And admittedly, I'm sort of around the edges for most players here, but I guess I'm not quite ready to let go of baby.

Yeah kind of like Google.

On a side note is this test game still going to turn 12 or will you be having it run longer and test late game scenarios?

TY - LI

Did you want to fight my small division 3 brigades vs your 5 brigades? My main army can just finish the siege unless you want to fight them again. They have a new toy

People don't know but Ry Vor and myself have been discussing this topic behind the scenes for a while and I've been trying to convince him to go official with what we have today. The game is solid, the new battle loss/attrition algorithm is working properly (which was the biggest concern of the previous Beta), and everything else is ready to become official.

Once official, an advertising campaign can attract more players (or returning players from hiatus) so our player base could double or even triple which would mean more competitive games for everyone. After around 15-20 games have completed, we can look into having a patch release to update any unexpected issues or add new enhancements to the game as was done with 2nd Cycle (even back when Cipher was still around).

We just need to get over this hump and not be too concerned with any minor or isolated issues that won't really have an impact on the game or it'll never get done - hint, hint Smile. So let's make this official, move forward, and start enjoying the new 3rd Cycle game!!!

Two of my leaders have Decorations now, but what they are doesn't show up. I'm using a Mac ... is that the issue?

I'm really itching to try a battle. My 1st group currently has 11 brigades, but will probably lose some attacking the SA town I'm at this turn.

But you guys have to fight me in the woods Smile How about the winner of AM vs SA meet me at GG in 2 turns. If you have wizards bring them. If you can get 10 brigades there, lovely.

Fine with me!

Moving to GG after fighting AM.

Any chance AM will tell me which group he wants to fight with so I don't waste orders on the other masked group?  You should attack 1SA and not attack 2SA - please.  I had to leave a single brigade there so that I only had 8 to fight with - as per the request.  I left a single SA kingdom brigade in 2SA so I can see how the other brigades work in combat.  I have no wizards in 1SA - again, as requested.

Yes, I am only attacking 1SA and you should attack 1AM.
Looking over the reports, I think the SA will win, so I am not moving to GG.
