I have been asked to post the first group to group combat.
It appears the Giant had zero wish to engage on with the Red Dragon.

As the attack commenced, the innate, radiating power of the dragon's force weakened the
knees within their intended targets. The effect of this overbearance was to lower their
opponent's morale and fighting ability during the engagement. Late in the afternoon, the
1st Red Dragon army group rushed to attack the defensive position of the 1st Giant full
division led by General Tirikia. Among the Red Dragon troops were brigades of Wyverns,
which now leaped ahead to the first ranks! Among the Giant troops were brigades of Ogres,
which now raced to the front lines! As the most important group of their people, the
fighters are visibly bolstered by the presence of the first Red Dragon's banner! As the
most important group of their people, the fighters are noticeably emboldened by being
under the first Giant's colors! As the attackers swept down from the darkening sky to just
above the rolling plains, the first missles sang out.
- Archers -
The Red Dragon intense fiery breath and the boulder hurling troops of the Giant force
initiated their attack. The Red Dragon lines inflicted significant losses upon the Giant
forces in response, the Giant caused light losses against the enemy.
- Magic -
Red Dragon conjurers dismounted scarcely beyond the range of defending bowmen and began an
animated spell. The Red Dragon Yojditar (Adept) was not a factor in the battle. Giant
conjurers dismounted just past where the defensive missles were falling and began an
incomprehensible spell. Power-1 wizard Indikan began sorcerous incantations in an unknown
tongue which caused his image to disappear from the battlefield! The Giant Nerafana
(Adept) was not a factor in the battle. Mages were not a significant factor in the battle.
- Cavalry -
The Red Dragon force enjoyed a significant advantage in the early going, greatly
pressuring their foe. Now Marshal Firnok beckoned the Red Dragon death-bringing winged
attack down upon the hired horsemen of the Giant. The Red Dragon lines inflicted noticable
damage upon the Giant ranks while the Giant caused negligible damage against the enemy.
- Conclusion -
With higher than expected losses, General Tirikia had no choice but to order the Giant
force to withdraw. The Giant leaders did a remarkable job in exiting the field with
minimal additional casualties. Red Dragon casualties were put at 2%. All Red Dragon
leaders survived the battle. All the Red Dragon wizards survived the fray. The troops are
anxious for more victories: morale is up! Giant casualties were put at 30%. Tragically,
the Giant General Tirikia perished. Ikavan has shown great valor and has earned a
promotion to General. All the Giant wizards survived the fray. The toll of battle has
reduced the group's morale.
