The queens gambit is never accepted in high level chess.
Not so sure; keeps you on your toes. An alternative way to to control the middle and perhaps through the opponent off balance. Geeez. surprise is half the game. Just expecting pawn to king 4. Go for the English opening or the Sicilian Defense. Do the unexpected.
I probably mentioned it before, a good chess channel, agadmator. I've watched probably hundreds of recent top GM games, its always the queens gambit declined. Magnus, the world champion, loves the London, as do I, that's not an e4 opening. And I do like the Sicilian as well, specifically the pterodactyl version of the hyper-accelerated dragon, mostly for the name
