Do visit and also check out the Issue #1 if you haven' already.

Grimfinger aka Maximus is a friend of Alamaze and Fall of Rome.
A reminder that the second issue has been out and has more Alamaze coverage as well as that for other games. Let's help support the establishment of this new magazine covering our hobby! Submit articles and provide feedback to the editor on his forum. The editor is Charles, aka Grimfinger, aka Maximus Dominus, who has been a friend to us for a long time.
I should still have an article in the queue, I'm guessing I was bumped again because there were enough Alamaze articles in issue #2 (as well as issue #1).

I read this posting, just now, and I had to go back in and do some digging. As near as I can tel, here's what happened.

If I have the correct article pegged, you sent it to me via e-mail on November 21st, 2013.

On December 3rd, 2013, I sent the following e-mail to Mark Wardell, who was the one that compiled the articles together to form issue # 1:

Mark Wardell,

This review for Alamaze should have been included in issue # 1. Please make sure that it is included in issue # 2.

Thanks,

Mark was supposed to compile issue # 2. He got sick, and I ended up just compiling issue # 2, myself. That was closer to the end of December, though. So, as near as I can tell, I simply forgot about the e-mail that I sent to Mark, and consequently, your article, as well.

It will be in issue # 3. I have begun compiling issue # 3, already. I will incorporate your article into the draft working copy of issue # 3 this morning.

On December 4th, 2013, Mark had sent me this e-mail:

I thought I'd sent you a note that I removed it from issue 1 because there was too much coverage for a single game.

Sorry if that caused any problems.

Mark

Sorry for the delay and inconvenience. Also, I appreciate you posting to this thread. If anyone else notices anything falling through the proverbial cracks, post here and let me know, or e-mail me directly at GrimFinger@GrimFinger.Net, or leave me a message over on the PlayByMail.Net website.
Barring any changes in the layout between now and the actual date of publication later this month, your article should appear on pages 9 and 10 of issue # 3.

As they say, better late than never, eh?
No worries at all, just trying to help out! Smile
Also, and it's just a thought, if any Alamaze players would care to send in a photo of themselves, I could incorporate a number of them into an ad. Perhaps a "game on" face, something to visually taunt the players of other games with. I know that Wolfgar has some colorful photos that would work very well for this purpose.

At any rate, just an idea.
Feel free to use my picture here. It's bound to increase interest in your publication as well as to inspire more people to join the ranks of Alamaze.

If you have a large enough version of it, perhaps we could include it as a centerfold.
