If you are in a "middle" region, what is the affect of winter vs. summer to production - relative to this statement in the rules:

"Keep a watchful eye on your resource levels to ensure that you are prepared for the decreased production of Summer if located in the South, or of Winter if in the North. Try to line up a reliable trading partner."
Regions 1-6 suffer in Winter and regions 7-10 suffer in Summer. There is no middle region; your pcs are in one or the other.

The chart showing the seasonal effects for all regions is actually shown twice in The General Rules. Section 14 - Production, and Section 25 - Seasons.
getting ready to enter a bad season in game 113 and have a quick question. gold at my city will cut in half, food cut to 25%. so does it actually get worse or better? technically, 25% of a negative is going to be beneficial. anyway, anyone know what I should expect for the city's production of food? thanks
If I remember correctly, your city will eat twice as much food during winter. So a city eating 5,000 will eat up 10,000. No matter what, cities are going to cost you some serious food during winter Smile
Ouch. thanks for the info.
