I like Bran as King. To me it made the most sense. I thought maybe Arya would kill Danny. I didn’t see Jon doing it but in the end it really had to be him. I love how the Dragon knew the cost of the throne and melted it. It makes you realize the dragons are highly intelligent. Or was it more of a I can’t kill you because your a Targaryen but you will never have this throne either. I like to think it was saying ya’ll need to get your shit together it’s nothing but a metal chair see.

Do you think there will be an off shoot the Adventures or Arya? I wouldn’t be surprised. Also when did Ghost lose his ear?

I read an excerpt from an interview with Martin released after the episode. When he first sat down to write the books the first scene he wrote was when Ned Stark beheaded the deserter from the Nights Watch. He made Bran watch. Martin knew then that in the end Bran would end up King.

So I know some say they are disappointed in the final season but I for one am fine with it. For ten years the story has kept people coming back and begging for more. Plus the monumental task of production on something like that. Let’s give some credit to the production crew. Hats off.

Last thing. Bran will be a good King for another reason. With a name like Bran the whole realm will eat more fiber and stay more regular, leading to much happier dispositions.
I find an arrow through the heart is the best way to deal with most wizards.

My thoughts are that Martin vaguely described the end to the showrunners.  Kind of like giving them the answer to a math problem without explaining the steps to get there.  So much of the last few seasons has seemed forced/rushed or sloppy.

We didn't see it happen, but Ghost lost part of his ear in the battle of Winterfell. He went charging at the undead with the Dothraki.
